GREENWOOD — No. 6 Columbus North overcame a match point to pull out a three-set win at No. 2 doubles Thursday to claim a 3-2 boys tennis upset at No. 3 Center Grove.

With the match tied 2-2, Sashu Sabapathy and Michael Crossman posted a 3-6, 6-2, 7-6 (8) victory at No. 2 doubles. The pair won it on their fourth match point.

The first two wins for the Bull Dogs (8-1) came at No. 1 singles, where Hank Lin beat Tyler Lane 6-1, 6-0, and at No. 2 singles, where Parth Shah topped Quinn Smith 6-3, 6-2.

North’s Teddy Littrell fell to Yuvras Dasari 6-1, 6-0 at No. 3 singles. Yoki Murabayashi and Vince Sasse lost to Carson Bush and Daksh Patel 6-2, 6-2 at No. 1 doubles.
