NORTH VERNON — Jennings County won the No. 1 singles match Thursday, but Jeffersonville took the other four to post a 4-1 boys tennis victory.
Parker Bales beat Matthew Lowe 6-4, 7-5 at No. 1 singles for the Panthers (5-7).
Jennings’ Ty Zohrlaut fell to Teddy Burnette 6-0, 6-2 at No. 2 singles, and Lucius Stidham lost to KJ Westbay 6-0, 6-4 at No. 3 singles. Cole Skinner and Luke Napier fell to Ryan Crawford and Austin Gazaway 6-3, 6-4 at No. 1 doubles, and Brady Sentz and Asher Morin lost to Stone Stiff and Elijah Glasscock 6-2, 6-0 at No. 2 doubles.
