The Bartholomew County Sheriff’s Department announced Friday that a long term investigation by the Joint Narcotics Enforcement Team (JNET) assisted by the Intelligence Led Policing Unit (ILP) concluded with the arrest of two Taylorsville residents on narcotics charges.

Angel Sanders, 48, and Robert Siple 49, were arrested after a search warrant was executed on a residence in Tannehill Trailer Park, 7720 Mill Run. Authorities said the search resulted in locating a substantial amount of narcotics. Law enforcement seized approximately a quarter-pound of methamphetamine, hydrocodone pills, suspected fentanyl, items used in the sale of narcotics such as scales, a 9-mm handgun and approximately $2,000 in cash.

Sanders and Siple were both arrested on the charges of: dealing in methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine, dealing in a narcotic drug, possession of a narcotic drug, dealing in a schedule II controlled substance, possession of a schedule II controlled substance, maintaining a common nuisance, possession of a syringe, possession of paraphernalia and possession of a schedule IV controlled substance. They both remain in the Bartholomew County Jail on a 48-hour hold.
