SHELBYVILLE — Columbus Christian volleyball went 1-2 in Saturday’s Southwestern (Shelby) Tournament.
The Crusaders (4-9) beat Central Christian 25-19, 25-20 before falling to Southwestern 25-9, 25-9 and Shakamak 25-7, 25-8.
Emma Murray recorded 13 kills and 19 digs, and Abby Dora had 11 assists and five aces to lead Columbus Christian. Bella Frederickson posted one solo block.
Also for the Crusaders, Mara Nickerson tallied four kills, seven assists, 12 digs and four aces. Paige Harden pounded four kills, Abby Dora notched 11 assists and 11 digs, Emma Murray had one assist block and four aces, Madyson Murray added one assist block and Emma Rice contributed 11 digs.
