OSGOOD — South Decatur’s girls finished seventh and boys eighth in Saturday’s Jac-Cen-Del Invitational cross-country meet.
Kate Schoettmer led the Cougar girls with a 25th-place finish in 25 minutes, 34.9 seconds for 5,000 meters (3.1 miles). Andrea Brogan took 38th in 28:02.9, while Kenzie Stone was 42nd (28:35.6), Bri Benefiel 52nd (31:22.8) and Brooklyn Ortman 54th (33:14.4).
Nicholas Hunter finished 21st in 19:05.9 to lead the South Decatur boys. Joe Morrow took 70th in 25:33.5, while Luke Poling was 72nd (26:37.5), Josh Chastain 76th (29:06.7) and Michael Nobbe 79th (31:49.7).
