COLUMBUS, Ind. — Columbus police have taken a female juvenile into custody in conjunction with an investigation into a SnapChat shooting threat against Bartholomew Consolidated School Corp.’s Parkside Elementary School.

The juvenile was taken to the Bartholomew County Youth Services Center Sunday night accused of intimidation and false reporting, according to Sgt. Skylar Berry, Columbus Police Department spokesman.

Although the juvenile is in custody, CPD, the Bartholomew County Sheriff’s Department and Indiana State Police will work with BCSC’s school resource officers to protect all schools on Monday, Berry said.
