Danika Hoehn // Columbus North sophomore soccer player

Hoehn recorded a shutout in goal a 2-0 win against Greenwood, combined with Gabby Revell on a shutout in a 5-0 win at Southport and posted a shutout in Saturday’s 1-0 win at Greenfield-Central.

Her performance last week: “I definitely worked hard to get to where I am now. I’m still growing for sure. I want to give a shoutout to the defense for helping me get the shutouts.”

Do you do anything special to prepare? “I mostly just reflect mostly on my past games and what I can do to help my team out and work hard in practice.”

Favorite drink: “Dr. Pepper”

Favorite food: “Chicken”

Favorite class: “English”

Favorite sports team: “Pittsburgh Steelers”

Favorite athlete: “(Racing Louisville goalkeeper) Katie Lund”

Role model: “My mom (Kelli Hoehn).”

Best advice: “My mom gives me so much advice, but just work hard and just worry about you, and there’s always room for improvement.’’’

Athletics goal: “To play in college and definitely improve more.”

If you could travel anywhere: “Greece, because my favorite movie, ‘Mamma Mia’ has been filmed there, and just because I like to travel.”

Ethan House // Hauser senior soccer player

Ethan House

House scored two goals Saturday to lead the Jets to a 5-1 win against Austin. He leads Hauser with 11 goals in nine games this season.

His performance last week: “We worked the ball good as a team, and that helps me perform well.”

Do you do anything special to prepare? “I stretch out and get taped from our athletic trainer.”

Favorite drink: “Orange Powerade”
