Bartholomew County

Library Babies — 10 to 10:30, 10:35 to 11, and 11:05 to 11:30 a.m., Bartholomew County Public Library, 536 Fifth St., Columbus. This relaxed program is a baby-friendly introduction to storytime. Library Babies is geared toward children birth to 18 months and their caregivers. To register, call the children’s desk at 812-379-1288.

Preschool Dance Class — 10 to 10:30 a.m., Bartholomew County Public Library, 536 Fifth St., Columbus. Children ages 2 to 5 are invited to dance with local dance teacher, Megan. Caregivers will stay in the room with their dancers. Registration is requested.

Columbus Utilities Service Board — 11:30 a.m., Columbus City Utilities, 1111 McClure Road, Columbus.

Tween Game Time — 3:30 to 5 p.m., Bartholomew County Public Library, 536 Fifth St., Columbus. Stop by after school for some laid-back fun as playing a collection of board, card, and dice games. Game selection may vary.

Columbus Housing Authority’s Board of Commissioners — 3:30 p.m., City Hall, 123 Washington St., Columbus.

Teen Thursgame — 3:30 to 5 p.m., Bartholomew County Public Library, 536 Fifth St., Columbus. Featuring our brand new Arcade Machine with over 20k games. Learn to play new games, or enjoy older ones in this afterschool games club.

Teen Dungeons and Dragons — 3:30 to 5 p.m., Bartholomew County Public Library, 536 Fifth St., Columbus. A new Season begins! This game is beginner-friendly with all materials provided. Registration required.

Furry Friends Food Bank — 4 to 5:30 p.m., Columbus Municipal Airport, 4770 Ray Boll Blvd., Columbus. Friends of Columbus Animal Care Services will be handing out pet food in the parking lot in front of the plane, Charlie 119 from 4 to 5:30 p.m. or until supplies last. Mixed brands of cat food will be distributed in 4.5 pound bags and dog food in 14.5 pound bags. Please plan to stay in your vehicles and line up on the west side of the driveway for the food. The food will be brought to you in your vehicle.

Transformers — 6 to 7 p.m., St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, 719 Fifth St., Columbus. This group welcomes children and families who are grieving a loss.
