Curbside leaf collection to begin in October

The Columbus Department of Public Works has announced the start of the annual Fall Loose Leaf Collection Program, which will begin on Monday, Oct. 14.

The program will run through December, with a potential end date based on the timing of leaf-fall. During the program, residents are encouraged to rake their leaves to the curb for collection on their trash day. Please ensure that leaves are clear of all obstructions such as cars and mailboxes, as well as debris such as branches and decorative grass trimmings, to allow for efficient collection. If you have sticks or branches, create a separate pile for chipper collection. Do not bag leaves.
