South Decatur wins first MHC title in 24 years

GREENSBURG — South Decatur wrapped up its first Mid-Hoosier Conference volleyball title in 24 years Tuesday with a 25-19, 25-16, 25-9 sweep of Waldron.

Aniston Bostic recorded 10 kills and four blocks, and Paige McQueen had eight digs and four aces to lead the Cougars (16-2, 6-0). Makayla Somers notched 27 assists.

Also for South Decatur, Taylor Somers tallied six kills, seven digs, two blocks and two aces, and Zsophia Sharp added six kills and seven digs. Makayla Somers had two blocks and two aces, and McQueen posted two blocks.
