IUC women, men fall to West Virginia Tech

West Virginia Tech swept a River States Conference soccer doubleheader at IU Colimbus on Thursday, winning the women’s game 1-0 and the men’s contest 8-1.

The West Virginia Tech women outshot the Crimson Pride (2-3-1, 0-1) 21-1, putting 13 shots on goal to one for IUC. Columbus North graduate Mallory Gilley recorded 11 saves.

Angel Roque scored the goal for the Crimson Pride men (3-5-1, 0-1), who were outshot 20-9. West Virginia Tech put 13 shots on goal to five for IUC, with Jacob Kasarda posting five saves.
