Columbus Star Quilt Guild — 9:30 a.m. to noon, First Baptist Church, 3300 Fairlawn Drive, Columbus. On Oct. 3, after a short business meeting, there will be four presentations: Janice Harrell on “How to Make Folded Envelopes”, Carol Walp will offer “Tips for Embroidering”, JoAnn Ferguson on “Beading on Your Quilts” and Vicki Anthony on “Sewing a Perfect Arc”.
