Hayden Zapfe Car Show — 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., Creative Hair Design, 3122 N. National Road, Columbus, $25 registration fee into car show. All proceeds support the Hayden Zapfe Next Step Scholarship Fund.

Love Where You Live — 2 to 6:30 p.m., downtown Columbus. Heritage Fund invites you to come Love Where You Live for all ages and spend a fun-filled fall afternoon in downtown Columbus. The day’s schedule also includes youth activities, food trucks, community table and auction of picnic tables with local artwork, artist demonstrations, and live mural creation of LWYL design by Annie Shields. Love Where You Live Concert — 4 to 5:30 p.m., Bartholomew County Public Library, 536 Fifth St., Columbus. Taylor Swift Tribute band, food trucks, and fun activities.

Learn to Play Hockey — 4:15 to 5:15 p.m., Hamilton Community Center and Ice Arena, 2501 Lincoln Park Drive, Columbus. Children ages 4 to 10 can learn the basic skills of hockey without an overemphasis on winning. Free equipment is available to use, cost is $5 per child. Arrive 30 minutes early to get fitted for equipment.

She Kills Monsters — 7 p.m., Grey Box Theatre, Central Middle School, 725 7th St., Columbus. Mill Race Theatre Company presents “She Kills Monsters” by Qui Nguyen. This witty and whimsical play tells the story of a sister who has lost everything—only to find herself by completing her deceased sister’s Dungeons and Dragons campaign.
