TERRE HAUTE — IU Columbus had five men’s and four women’s runners compete in Friday night’s Terre Haute Twilight meet on the LaVern Gibson Championship Cross Country Course.
Erin Jones led the Crimson Pride women with a 79th—place finish in 26 minutes, 40 seconds for 6K (3.8 miles). Abby Voss took 103rd in 27:36, while Delanie Bronner was 169th in 35:42 and newcomer Grace Barkes 172nd in 42:10.
Jackson Niebert finished 135th in 28:50 for 8K (5 miles) to lead the IUC men. Emiliano Rosales-Lopez took 212th in 30:35, while Conner Beatty was 250th (33:46), Blake Nigg 270th (40:34) and Joey Martinez 271st (41:41).
The Crimson Pride will compete in the River States Conference Preview Oct. 18 at Angel Mounds in Evansville.
