Landmark Columbus Foundation’s Second Annual Rock the Block: Kaleidoscope was from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Saturday at Fourth and Washington streets under InterOculus in downtown Columbus.

The free, all-ages event was the grand finale of the Heritage Fund’s 2024 “Love Where You Live” Campaign.

Other related events earlier on Saturday included a free concert by Miss Americanas, a Taylor Swift tribute band, on the Bartholomew County Public Library Plaza, 536 Fifth St. in downtown Columbus.

The gathering was designed to unite residents and visitors “to celebrate the city’s colorful and vibrant culture and spirit with a night full of dance, music, and community connection,” according to a news release.

Last year’s Rock the Block, organized by Alice Johnson and Sarla Kalsi, attracted hundreds of people from all backgrounds, and filled the surrounding area. Community leaders declared it a substantial success.

Fabiana Costa and Whittney Gaines organized this year’s get-together with support from the Heritage Fund and the city of Columbus.
