IU Columbus dropped a River States Conference soccer doubleheader to Rio Grande on Thursday, with the women falling 2-0 and the men losing 3-0.
The Rio Grande women outshot the Crimson Pride 23-0, putting 10 shots on goal. Columbus North graduate Mallory Gilley recorded eight saves.
The Rio Grande men outshot IUC 10-2, putting seven shots on goal to none for the Crimson Pride. Harris Weltz posted four saves.
The IUC women (2-6-1, 0-3) and men (4-6-2, 0-2-1) will wrap up the home portion of their seasons against IU East at 4:30 and 7 p.m. Saturday at Richard Wigh Soccer Complex.
