COLUMBUS, INDIANA

Connie JoAnn Sullivan, passed away on October 7, 2024, surrounded by her family in Columbus, Indiana. Born on December 19, 1940, in Marion, Indiana, she brought joy and brightness with a happy heart to everyone she encountered throughout her 83 years.

Connie’s life was one marked by dedication and warmth, notably reflected in her fruitful career at AT&T where she excelled in customer service before retiring. Her professional journey mirrored her personal one, touching lives with genuine care and affirmative engagement.

She was the heart of her family, a loving and supportive mother to Robin Robinson and Rick (Dora) Robinson, and a cherished grandmother to Daemen Sampson as well as a doting great-grandmother to Daemen Sampson II. Connie’s devotion extended to her husband, Michael L. Sullivan, who, alongside their children and grandchildren, filled her days with laughter and love.

In her own delightful sanctuary of home, Connie found immense pleasure in gardening, her hands often dusted with soil as she nurtured her flowers into life. Equally, she was an avid reader whose happy heart resonated within the stories she explored.

Preceded in death by her father Roy Boaz, mother Reva Wilber, sister Cheryl Pankow, and brother Paul Boaz, Connie leaves behind a legacy of love and an eternal imprint on the hearts of those fortunate to have known her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered as the embodiment of joy and the epitome of a life well-lived.

Services for Connie will be private. She will be laid to rest in Garland Brook Cemetery.
