The Hauser High School volleyball team claimed its victory over Waldron 25-13, 25-10, 25-19. An 11-point run, which included a string of aces by Danielle Giles, set the tone for the Jets, who kept the momentum going in the second and third sets.

Phillip Smith, principal trumpeter for the New York Philharmonic, performed with the Columbus Indiana Philharmonic as part of the Distinguished Artist Guest Series at Columbus North High School. The philharmonic performed “Two Gershwin Portraits” by Joseph Turrin.

Betsy Apple was crowned Columbus Junior Miss at The Commons, which earned her a spot to participate in the Indiana Junior Miss competition in Frankfort.
