Chevrolet of Columbus to host community event for its anniversary

Chevrolet of Columbus is celebrating its 10th anniversary by inviting the community to a family event from 2 to 7 p.m. Saturday at the dealership, 2825 Merchant Mile.

The event will include:

– A Corvette car show: Featuring a showcase of stunning vehicles from the Corvette Club of Columbus, from 2 to 4 p.m.

– Grilled Hot Dogs and Burgers: Former Columbus Mayor Fred Armstrong will be grilling favorites from 3:30 to 6 p.m.

– Kids’ activities: Family-friendly fun with bounce houses, cornhole, and a ride on Tilley the Fire Truck, from 2 to 4 p.m.

– Live Music: The Brown 25 Band will perform from 5 to 7 p.m.

“We’ve always believed that a strong business is one that gives back to its community,” said CEO Leo Portaluppi. “Our goal has been to make a meaningful difference in Columbus, whether through partnerships with local schools, nonprofits, or supporting local events.”

Chevrolet of Columbus has partnered with Bartholomew Consolidated School Corp. on educational initiatives, community programs and sponsorships.
