2014

Allen Breed, 90, a resident of Four Seasons in Columbus, traveled to Washington, D.C. as part of Indy Honor Flight to see the National World War II Memorial. Breed served with the Army’s 526th Armored Infantry at the Battle of the Bulge.

1999

Columbus Christian School hosted a craft bazaar, where vendors sold crafts including baskets, candles, dolls and crocheted items.

1974

St. Peter’s Lutheran Church’s His and Hers Club sponsored a fall fair, called “Side of Beef,” where attendees could play games, win door prizes and order a sandwich. The proceeds from the fair were used to help finance the annual trip to Chicago for the school’s eighth graders.
