NORTH VERNON — Jeffersonville jumped out to a 35-7 halftime lead Friday and went on to hand Jennings County a 42-13 Hoosier Hills Conference defeat.
Both scores for the Panthers (0-9, 0-6) came on kickoff returns. Brandan McCory brought one back 80 yards in the second quarter, and Nathan Harrison returned one 66 yards in the third quarter.
Brady Franks completed 7 of 15 passes for 59 yards. Ryan Clark caught four passes for 48 yards.
Rhett Burkman led the defense with 10 tackles and a fumble recovery.
Jennings will visit Bedford North Lawrence Oct. 25 in the first round of the sectional.
