Columbus has set its trick or treat hours for 5:30 to 8 p.m. Oct. 31.
Local residents who wish to hand out treats should leave porch and outdoor lights on, city officials said.
They are also asking motorists to be extra careful during trick or treat hours as there will be many pedestrians crossing streets during those hours.
