COLUMBUS
Billy E. Mullins, 90, of Columbus, passed from this life at 7:10 a.m. Tuesday, October 22, 2024, at Silver Oaks Health Campus.
Mr. Mullins was born August 18, 1934, in Fleming, Kentucky, the son of Oliver and Alva Boggs Mullins.
He married Janette York in 1957; she preceded him in death December 20, 2022.
Survivors include his children, Glauda (Steve) Arthur of Huntsville, AL, Elma Frye of Birmingham, AL, Billy S. (Bobbie) Mullins of Columbus and Christy Lane of Arab, AL; grandchildren, John (April) Arthur, Brittney Frye, Nathaniel Mullins, Jamie (Brandy) Lane and Cavanaugh Lane; six, great-grandchildren; a brother, Robert (Linda) Mullins of Seattle, WA; and a sister, Betty Mullins of Lexington, KY.
He is preceded in death by his parents; wife; brothers, Jimmy, Ray and Elmer Mullins and a sister, Faye Caudill.
In keeping with Mullins wishes, cremation will take place and no services are planned at this time.
