G R “Bob” Stull

COLUMBUS

G R “Bob” Stull, 93, a resident of Columbus, Indiana, passed from this life at 9:41 p.m. Monday, October 21, 2024, at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility.

Mr. Stull was born in Wayne County, Illinois, January 9, 1931, the son of Ed and Gladys Louder Stull. He was faithfully married to Tonda Lee Piatt Davis for 26 years from May 28, 1994, until her death September 19, 2020.

Mr. Stull was drafted into the United States Army as a young man. He retired from Golden Foundry in 2000 after 40 years of service. Some of Mr. Stull’s passions were horse racing, St. Louis Cardinals baseball and listening to Hank Williams music.

Mr. Stull is survived by his grandchildren, Kyle Davis (Jamie Daley) of Dillsboro, Indiana, Jenna Davis of Punta Gorda, Florida and Zane Davis of Punta Gorda, Florida; great-granddaughter, Maddy Jo of Punta Gorda, Florida; sister-in-law, Carolyn Jordan of Columbus; daughter-in-law, Rebecca (Ken) Knutson of Punta Gorda, Florida; nieces and nephews, Terry (Steve) Mings of Columbus, Lori (Mark) Sprague of Columbus, Rick Jordan of Columbus, Stevie (Jackie) Means of Jeffersonville and Rhonda Caudill of Columbus; God son, Justin (Laura) Sprague of Columbus; many great-nieces and great-nephews; and a great-great nephew, Dean Sprague of Columbus.

Mr. Stull was preceded in death by his parents, Ed and Gladys Stull; wife, Tonda; stepsons, Robbie and Jason Davis; and brothers-in-law, Johnny and Ronald Thomas Piatt.

The memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, October 26, 2024, at Barkes, Weaver &Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street; Pastor Shane Rocker will officiate.

Family and friends may gather for memorial visitation from 9:30 a.m. until service time Saturday at the funeral home.

Mr. Stull will be laid to rest with his wife in Section 90 at Garland Brook Cemetery.
