KOKOMO — IU Columbus concluded its women’s soccer season Thursday with a 3-2 River States Conference loss at IU Kokomo.
IU Kokomo jumped out to a 3-0 lead with three goals in the first 15 minutes. The Crimson Pride (2-11-1, 0-8) came back with two goals in the final nine minutes of the first half, but neither team found the net in the second half.
IUCs Cyanne St. Bernard scored off an assist from Lily Campbell in the 37th minute. Campbell added an unassisted goal in the 45th minute.
IK Kokomo outshot the Crimson Pride 20-9, putting 11 shots of goal to IUC’s seven. Columbus North graduate Mallory Gilley recorded eight saves.
