Apprisen, in partnership with Fifth Third Bank, Southern Indiana Housing and Community Development Corp., and the Lincoln-Central Neighborhood Homebuyer Program, is sponsoring a free First Time Homebuyer Workshop, on Saturday, Nov. 9, from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., at YES Cinema’s Kalsi Conference Center, 222 Fourth St.
Workshop topics include:
- Preparing for homeownership
- Working with a real estate agent
- Understanding budgets and credit history
- Finding and working with a lender
- Home inspections and home maintenance
- Preventing loan default
Each attendee will receive a HUD homebuyer certificate of completion at the end of the workshop.
