An episode of YouTube-based art show “The Art Assignment,” was filmed in the Irwin Conference Center in Columbus. The show was produced by PBS Digital Studios and co-hosted by Indianapolis-based curator Sarah Urist Green and her husband, novelist John Green.

1999

Bartholomew Consolidated School Corp. food service workers held a Christmas Bazaar at Clifty Creek Elementary School. Crafts, baked goods and roasted pecans were sold to those who attended.

Kay Unsworth of Columbus and Bureen Mann, president of the North Vernon Seventh Day Adventist Church, traveled to Okinawa, Japan, as part of a missionary trip.
