COLUMBUS, Ind. — A local man was arrested Sunday on drug-related charges after a traffic stop near the intersection of Fairview Drive and State Street in Columbus.
Bartholomew County Sheriff deputies identified the driver as Sellus Rader, 25, Columbus, who was accused of operating a vehicle without ever receiving a license, and he was cited for that infraction deputies said.
BCSO K9 Jari was deployed and alerted positive to the odor of narcotics inside the vehicle, deputies said.
Drug-related paraphernalia was located and two pieces of foil, one containing a white crystal substance believed to be methamphetamine and the other containing what appeared to be heroin, were located on the ground just outside of the vehicle, deputies said.
Passenger Courtney Graham, 18, Columbus, was cited for possession of paraphernalia, deputies said.
Passenger Christopher Davis, 26, Columbus, was taken to the Bartholomew County Jail on preliminary charges of possession of methamphetamine, possession of heroin and possession of paraphernalia, deputies said.
Davis remains in jailĀ in lieu of $117,500 bond, jail officials said.
