Girl Scout cookies are arriving in the area

COLUMBUS, Ind. — Truckloads of Girl Scout Cookies are rolling into central Indiana this week.

Nearly a million packages are being delivered through Sunday in cities including Bloomington, Columbus, Indianapolis, Kokomo, Lafayette, Muncie, Richmond and Terre Haute.

Girl Scouts will begin delivering pre-ordered cookies as soon as they receive them. Girl Scout Cookies are also being sold online at www.girlscoutsindiana.org/findcookies and beginning in mid-February at socially distant or contract-free troop-run cookie booths in front of grocery stores and other local retailers. The cost is $5 per package for all Girl Scout Cookie varieties.

Customers who buy cookies from their local Girl Scouts can be assured the proceeds will directly benefit Girl Scouts in their community.

Customers may use the Girl Scout Cookie Finder app on their mobile device to find a socially distant or contact-free in person cookie booth sale in their area. Corporate sponsors for the cookie program are American Dairy Association Indiana and Prairie Farms.
