Robert Eugene Bradley

GREENFIELD

Robert Eugene Bradley, 90 of Greenfield, passed away on Monday June 7, 2021 with his family by his side. He was born on August 14, 1930 in Columbus, IN to the late John R. and Elva Bradley. Bob left high school to join the Navy where he trained and served as a Machinist. After his time in the Navy, he spent over 35 years working as a tool and die maker at Thomas & Skinner and Western Electric. When Bob retired, he began working as a gunsmith in Newcastle, WY. He loved to work with his hands, and was a man of many talents. He met the love of his life, Catherine, when they were both 18. They married on Valentine’s Day in 1950 and began to travel the county and grow their family together. Bob was passionate about hunting, gun collecting/smithing, and loved to be a tour guide for anyone who came to visit Wyoming. He will be remembered for his love of life, the great outdoors and above all else, his love for his family.

Bob is survived by his wife of over 71 years, Catherine Pauline Bradley; daughters, Debra (Ron) Johnson, and Kathy Turner; sons, Mike (Darlene) Bradley, and Steve (Kathy) Bradley; 11 grandchildren; and 21 great grandchildren. He is preceded in passing by his parents; brothers, James Bradley, and Charles Bradley; and sisters, Mary Alice Boyle, and Marie Coffman.

Friends and family are invited to gather at 10:00 am on Friday June 11, 2021 at Flanner Buchanan – Washington Park East (10722 E. Washington St., Indianapolis, IN 46229), where a funeral service will begin at 12:00 pm.
