MILTON, KY.
John Randall “Randy” Thompson, 64, of Milton, Kentucky, passed away June 17, 2021 at his home.
Randy was born October 10, 1956 in Columbus, the son of John and Emma Kathryn McNicholas Thompson.
Randy retired from Arvin Industries after more then 30 years of service. He enjoyed fishing and hunting, especially after retirement. Randy was a ladies man who loved his friends (except for that Blaine Day, Randy never really liked him anyway) and his family, and enjoyed a good time. He lived his life to the fullest, and loved living it. Most of all, Randy loved his family, especially his grandchildren.
Randy is survived by his daughters Nikki (J.R.) Crawford of Sanders, Kentucky, and Stacey Jo (Steve) Gallardo of Greenwood; grandchildren Grace and Abram Schuette, Benjamin Crawford, as well as Ella and Eli Gallardo; siblings Rick (Vicki) Thompson, Wayne (Linda) Thompson, Mark (Cindy) Thompson, Terri (Lee Roby) Thompson, Teresa (Mark) Thompson, and Claudette (Jeff) Schroer; his good buddy Blaine Day; as well as his dogs (even though Randy swore he would never have one dog, let alone two), Max and Erma.
John was preceded in death by his parents.
A Celebration of Randy’s life will be July 3, 2021 at the family farm on Locust Creek. Pallbearers will be Blaine Day……. by himself…….. NO ONE else.
Services were entrusted to the Jewell – Rittman Family Funeral Home.
