• the lady in the black Dodge SUV for paying for my order at a local drive-thru, thank you, I will pay it forward, from the gal in the silver Jeep.

• the new Bartholomew County Fair midway company for the ultra professional setup of its facilities and equipment, looks great.

• Michigan GOP investigation that concluded there was no evidence of voter fraud.

• raising Social Security payments along with minimum wage, we need a living wage too, it is our money.

• Tom Ritchey for pulling the cadets out of the ditch Thursday, it was greatly appreciated, from Brenda and Lois.

• Christy for coming and checking on us when we got the cadets stuck and offering help, from Brenda and Lois.

• our state representative who went to Arizona, at least he did something.

• FOX News for being the only one who tells close to the truth about our political party.

• our past president for all the wonderful things he did for our country while in office.

• President Joe Biden for being a solidly better president in every way when compared to his predecessor.

Onions to …

• being able to have a traditional county fair but not a traditional Independence Day.

• classless ex-employees who attempt to poach current employees.

• not cleaning out the big slue in Taylorsville.

• people opposing the black history in schools.

• people still ignoring Portland which is still in riot mode, Jan. 6 has come and gone.

• claiming there is no evidence of conspiracy on Jan. 6th, when a member of an extremist group pleaded guilty to conspiracy and agreed to cooperate with prosecutors.

• those who don’t realize that if someone else had occupied the White House, our nation’s Capitol would not have been attacked on Jan. 6.

• the big, ugly, empty dumpster that’s been sitting on 28th Street for six months.

• the federal official in charge of the mess at the border yet refuses to go to the border.

• the federal elected official for letting another country’s leader know our 16 most vulnerable areas for a cyberattack by telling him they were off-limits.

• those who believe the fake news channels tell the truth.

• those pushing voting systems that will ensure fraud, such as absentee ballots mailed to anyone with no ID, proof of citizenship not required and extending voting times.

• people who think they can break into the library when it’s closed just because the president says they can.

• those listening to conspiracy theories instead of educating themselves about critical race theory which is taught only in law schools and the U.S. military academy.
