Brandy Faye Douglas, 29, of Columbus, passed away unexpectedly at 1:51 p.m. Saturday, June 26, 2021 in Franklin, Indiana.

Brandy was born November 23, 1991, in Columbus, Indiana, the daughter of Rhonda F. Burns and Troy D. Alvey.

Mrs. Douglas formerly worked as a Quality Technician at Falcon Manufacturing. Additionally, she also worked as an in-home health care C.N.A. She loved tie-dye, thrift shopping and all animals. Among her favorite things to do was spend time in the outdoors camping, four-wheeling, kayaking and tubing down different rivers in the area. Brandy cherished the time she was able to spend with her family and friends. She looked forward to attending festivals and being outside whenever possible.

Survivors include her mother, Rhonda Robinson along with her companion, Doug Turner, of Columbus; father, Troy and Shannon Alvey of Osgood; husband, Corey Douglas of Jennings County; children, Cory and Colten Douglas of Columbus; sister, Melany Alvey of South Bend; grandparents, Alice Burns of Columbus, Kathy Tellas of Ogilville, Tom and Linda White, also of Osgood; aunt, Wendy (Scott) Bailey of North Carolina, uncle, Rick (Candy) Burns, of Columbus; numerous cousins and extended family.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Makalia Robinson; grandfather, Ron Alvey and uncle, Randall Burns.

The funeral will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.

Burial will be at Shiloh Separate Baptist Church Cemetery.
