The naming ceremony for the track at the Bartholomew County 4-H Fairgrounds has been moved back to 6:30 p.m. today because Tony Stewart, for whom the track will be named, has obligations in Charlotte earlier today.
The ceremony, which originally was scheduled for 5 p.m., will take place at the pagoda between the grandstands and midway. Jim Ogilvie will be doing a flyover in his Huey Helicopter at 7 p.m.
Qualifying for Stewart’s All Star Circuit of Champions TQ Midgets event still will begin at 7 p.m., followed by heat races. The feature will start at around 8:30 p.m.
The first 2,000 fans to purchase a ticket will receive a free ticket to Saturday’s Superstar Racing Experience (SRX) event at Lucas Oil Raceway.
