Columbus City Utilities’ annual Summer Sewer Allowance program is set to begin in June for most residential customers. Once a customer’s water meter has been read in June, the July bill will begin reflecting the allowance on sewer charges. The Summer Sewer Allowance runs from June to September.
Irrigation meters are also available for purchase through the Columbus City Utilities office, which enables customers to sprinkle their lawns, water flowers, and use water for other activities without paying sewer charges on their water consumption.
