The deadline for paid political letters to be submitted for publication in The Republic before the May 3 primary election is 5 p.m. Monday, April 18. The Republic publishes letters to the editor during campaign seasons in support of or in opposition to political candidates and/or parties only after a $25 fee is received.
To submit a letter, go to therepublic.com/submit-letter-to-editor. The fee may be paid by credit card by calling The Republic at 812-379-5658 or 812-379-5612. If paying by check or money order, payment may be mailed to 2980 N. National Road, Attn: Business Office, Columbus, Ind., 47201, or you may pay in cash in person at the front counter of our office at 2980 N. National Road in Columbus.
