North student wins math league state title, team places second

Columbus North High School senior Matthew Liu placed first overall in Indiana Math League state competition, and the math league team from Columbus North placed first overall in regional competition and second overall in the state for the 2021-2022 school year.

Indiana Math League is a math competition that takes place from October through March and is open to all students grades 9-12.

Other top performers in the school include freshman Michael Crossman, senior Jiaxuan Wang, freshman Sam Song, seniors Tiffany Fu, Chaewon Lee and Evan Carr, and junior Samuel Hobbeheydar.
