COLUMBUS
Robert D. “Bob” Folger, 83, of Columbus passed away Sunday, April 17, 2022, at his residence.
Bob was born in Columbus June 7, 1938, the son of William W. and Ethel M. “Faye” Reynolds Folger.
He married Nancy J. Gilliland July 4, 1959 in Burney, Indiana; she preceded him in death March 17, 2016.
He was a former machinist with Boyer Tool and Machine. A 50 year member of Hope Masonic Lodge. He enjoyed fishing, NASCAR and Bears football.
He is survived by his children, Lorrie (Randy) Goins of Columbus, Dena (Will) Bohall of Winter Haven, FL, Tony Folger of Columbus and Darlene (Walter) Copas of Columbus; grandchildren, Will Norton of Franklin, Leah (Bill) Speckin of Clayton, Weston Bohall of Denver, CO, Adam Andis of Mass., Garett Davis of Indianapolis, Keeley, Levi, Brody and Justin Copas all of Columbus; 2 great grandchildren; brother, Larry Folger of Sebring, FL.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife.
A funeral service will be conducted at 6:00 p.m. Thursday at Hathaway~Myers Chapel on Pearl Street with Rev. Robert Lay officiating. Visitation from 5:00 p.m. to service time. Cremation will follow the service. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.hathaway-myers.com.
