Betty Jean Walker went to heaven on May 17,2022. Mrs. Walker was born on June 26,1938, in Metcalfe County, Kentucky. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Eugene “Gene” Walker, her parents, Major Dile and Leada “Duby” Dile Blair, and her brother Noah Dile.
Survivors include son, Anthony (Kelly) Walker, daughters Sandy (Tom) Benson, Rita (Roger) Graham and Cheryl Dixon, 9 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, sisters Pearlie Whited, Elizabeth (Jim) Hammond, Sue Ballard, and Naomi (David) Pyle, brother Ray (Mary) Dile, many nieces, nephews and her sister-in-law and best friend Lois Walker.
She worked at Cummins Engine Company before retiring.
Betty enjoyed being with family, planning parties, traveling in her motorhome with Gene and she was an avid gardener.
She will be greatly missed by family and friends which all loved her dearly.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
