Billy Joe Woodcock, 84, passed away Wednesday, November 9, 2022 at Silver Oaks Health Campus.
Billy was born May 11, 1938, in Glasgow, Kentucky to his parents, John and Vera Hurt Woodcock.
He married Linda Burton Woodcock on June 11, 1960 and she preceded him in death on March 9, 2000.
He began working at Cummins Engine Company in 1968. After 36 years, he retired in 2004.
Billy was a long time member of The Moose Lodge #398 and The Eagles #741. He was a devoted Kentucky Wildcats fan and an avid golfer. He enjoyed fishing and Nascar, most of all, he loved his family.
Billy is survived by his children, Max (Elaine) Woodcock, Tamara Graham, Tim (Holly) Woodcock, and Kerry Woodcock; his life partner, Linda Branum; his step children, Sean Close and Julie Close; and several grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and great-great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; several siblings; grandson, Jason Woodcock; and granddaughter, Kaleigh Graham.
In keeping with Billy’s wishes, cremation will take place and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
