COLUMBUS, INDIANA
Patricia J. Clingerman, 93, a resident of Columbus, Indiana, passed from this life at 12:45 p.m. Friday, November 18, 2022, at the Brown County Health &Living Community.
Mrs. Clingerman was born in Terre Haute, Indiana, December 29, 1928, the loving daughter of Mack and Hazel Fickertt Voke. On June 15, 1951, in Terre Haute, Patricia married Gene Clingerman; he preceded her in death July 11, 2014.
Pat enjoyed sewing, playing bridge, working in her yard and the outdoors. She spent decades as an active member and leader of the Columbus Regional Hospital auxiliary. Above all, she always cherished the time she spent with her family and friends.
Pat will be remembered by her children, Ann (Glenn) Kalisiak of Medinah, Illinois, Alan Clingerman of Campbellsport, Wisconsin, and Janet (Bill) Kivett of Columbus; a grandson, Seth (Mia) Schonfeld of Williamsburg, Virginia; and a great-granddaughter, Aurora Schonfeld.
Mrs. Clingerman was preceded in death by her parents, Mack and Hazel Voke; her husband, Gene; and siblings, Mack Voke Jr. and Margaret Hyde.
A time of visitation will be held from 2-4 p.m. Monday, November 21, 2022, at Barkes, Weaver &Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street. Mrs. Clingerman will be laid to rest next to her husband in Section 91 at the Garland Brook Cemetery following a private family service.
