COLUMBUS
Nancy L. Wilkerson, 84, passed away Tuesday, December 6, 2022, at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility,
Nancy was born in Brown County Indiana December 22, 1937, the daughter of Denzel and Ruby Terrill Timbrook. She married Jack D. Wilkerson, Sr. June 24 1956 in Columbus; he preceded her in death September 26, 2002.
She was a member of East Columbus Christian Church where she taught several youth groups and Vacation Bible School classes. She later joined Garden City Church of Christ. Her family was very important to her, especially her grandchildren. She and her husband, Jack, loved to take long motorcycle trips across the country. She also loved the sun and swimming.
Survivors include her children; Jack (Shelley) Wilkerson, Jr. of Brentwood, TN, Pamela Schaefer of Hope, IN, Jill Muncy of Columbus and Shane (Rachel) Wilkerson of Columbus; grandchildren, Chavis Rogers of Columbus, Taylor (Elizabeth) Mikulyuk of Columbus, Katelin Wilkerson of New York, Jake Wilkerson of New Jersey, Lane Wilkerson and Trenton Ford of Columbus, McKenzie Mikulyuk of Columbus and McKalah Meier of Bloomington; 4 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Tony Timbrook.
A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Myers~Reed Chapel on 25th Street with Virgil Clotfelter officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to service time Saturday. Burial will be in Garland Brook Cemetery. Online condolences may be sent to the Family at www.myers-reed.com.
