Trojans topple East
ST. LEON — Columbus East had several swimmers missing because of sickness Tuesday at East Central and lost the boys meet 106-79 and the girls meet 126-59.
Cassidy Furnish led the Olympian girls with wins in the 200-yard freestyle (2 minutes, 14.64 seconds) and 500 freestyle (6:02.98). Claire Brooks finished second in the 100 butterfly (1:10.38), and East took second in the 200 medley (2:11.44) and 400 freestyle (4:17.26) relays.
Brady Beyer led the boys with wins in the 100 butterfly (55.26) and 100 breaststroke (1:01.20). Todd Hundley won the 200 individual medley (2:13.83), Gavin Day took the diving competition (189.80) and Judah Nickoll captured the 100 backstroke (57.69) and the Olympians won the 200 medley relay (1:45.78). Second-place finishers included Nickoll in the 200 freestyle (1:56.37), Spencer Erfmeier in the 500 freestyle (5:28.37) and East’s 200 freestyle (1:43.73) and 400 freestyle (3:28.03) relay teams.
Panthers sweep Frogs
Columbus North dropped a dual meet to Bloomington South. The Panthers won the boys meet 109-72 and the girls meet 120-57.
Ainsley Sherlock won the 200 IM (2:24.96), and Karissa Bevis took the 50 freestyle (26.72) to lead the Bull Frog girls. Sherlock also finished second in the 100 breaststroke (1:13.62), Kanav Mehta took second in the 100 backstroke (1:15.51) and North was second in the 200 medley (2:09.99), 200 freestyle (1:53.90) and 400 freestyle (4:27.20) relays.
Pratt Badve won the boys 100 backstroke (57.39) and finished second in the 50 freestyle (23.25) to lead the boys. Other second-place finishers were Brock Smith in the 100 butterfly (59.80) and 100 breaststroke (1:12.48), Cole Ehara in the 200 IM (2:09.05), Carson Shoop in diving (152.55) and the Bull Frogs’ 200 medley (1:46.89), 200 freestyle (1:42.21) and 400 freestyle (3:43.11) relay teams.

RAMSEY — Bailey Tabeling recorded a triple-double with 25 points, 15 rebounds and 12 assists to lead Class A No. 4 Trinity Lutheran to its 10th consecutive win, a 71-57 victory at North Harrison.
Madison Keith added 20 points and 11 rebounds for the Cougars (10-1). Liza Froedge scored 13 points.
