COLUMBUS
Judy Marie Simpson, 73, of Columbus, passed away at 8:09 a.m. Saturday, December 24, 2022 at Columbus Regional Hospital.
Mrs. Simpson was born April 11, 1949, in Franklin, Indiana, the daughter of Lawrence Edward and Natalie Marie Gasser Thompson.
Judy retired from Boyer Machine and Tool after many years of service. She enjoyed watching game shows and word searches.
Survivors include her children, Gwen (Steve) Todd, Kenneth Jason Simpson, both of Columbus; grandchildren, Makayla (Cameron) Corbin, C.J. Simpson, Ariana Simpson, Mariana Simpson; sister, Shirley (Larry) Eades of Franklin; nieces, Delaine (Scott) DeHart, Shannon (Brian) Phelps and Emily (Josh) Watson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Wayne Thompson and ex-husband, Kenny Simpson.
The family has requested cremation and there will be a celebration of life service held at a later date.
