Elwood Staffing has announced its second acquisition over the past few weeks as the company continues expansion plans.
The Columbus-based company said Tuesday that it had acquired Advanced Personnel for an undisclosed amount, Elwood Staffing said in a press release.
Advanced Personnel is a provider of light industrial and clerical staffing services.
Elwood Staffing said the newly purchased offices will be rebranded under the Elwood Staffing name.
The acquisition is expected to expand Elwood Staffing’s presence in Kansas and Missouri, the company said.
Company officials said the deal is part of Elwood Staffing’s expansion plans. It also comes just weeks after Elwood Staffing acquired IES Custom Staffing Solutions.
IES Custom Staffing Solutions, a provider of industrial and clerical staffing services with offices throughout Idaho and northern Utah. Financial details of that transaction were not announced. The company said it plans to immediately rebrand the IES purchased offices under the Elwood Staffing name.
“We are pushing hard to expand our footprint across the country. We opened 10 new branches last year, and we plan to open even more in 2023,” said Elwood Staffing President Diane Bohman.
Company officials said that Elwood Staffing continues to grow market share with more than 275 service locations, partnerships with more than 6,000 companies and employment of more than 135,000 temporary associates annually.
