IUPUC baseball, softball take losses

IUPUC baseball came out on the short end of a 9-4 decision at Huntington on Tuesday.

Jared Ross had two RBIs for the Crimson Pride (2-33). Drew Bradley, the first of three pitchers, took the loss.

Meanwhile, the IUPUC softball team dropped a doubleheader on Monday, falling to St. Mary-of-the-Woods 7-4 and 6-3 at Ceraland.

The Crimson Pride led 4-2 after five innings in the opener before the Pomeroys scored five times in the sixth. Morgan Steineker went 2 for 2 with a double, Elyse Goad went 2 for 3 with a triple and Columbus North graduate Taylor Hadley went 2 for 4.

In the second game, Steineker went 2 for 2 with a double, and Hadley went 2 for 3 for IUPUC (5-22).
