Touch a Truck event Saturday

Call it something of a truck heaven or haven from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday when the Fourth Annual Touch-a-Truck event unfolds at the parking lot of the Brown County Music Center, 200 Maple Leaf Drive in Nashville.

At this free, family-friendly event hosted by the Brown County Weekend Backpacks, children of all ages can see, touch, and explore their favorite big trucks. From 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. is “quiet hour,” where loud noises will not be permitted, so anyone sensitive to loud noises can enjoy the event. Among the vehicles organizers expect at the event are an ambulance, bucket trucks, dump trucks, firetrucks, tractors, motorcycles, a military truck, concrete mixer, school bus, semis, police and sheriff’s vehicles, Jeeps, and a Porsche sports car.

New to the event this year is a NASCAR stock car, 1930s clown car, backhoe, giant excavator, splicing truck, tow truck, and a 2021 Corvette Stingray 3LT Z51 convertible. All vehicles will be open to explore.
