| Reginald O. “Reggie” Hill, went home to join his Heavenly Father June 26, 2023. He was born January 27, 1937 in Richmond, Indiana. The son of the late Ora W. and Lucy Mae Hill. He married his lifetime love, Donna Jean Grizzell, on April 3, 1964. He is survived by one daughter, Regina (David) Vittorio. Three grandchildren, Michael (Ashley) Vittorio, Sarah (Collin) Ruf and Hannah (Braden) Trimpe. He was blessed with four great-grandchildren, Dean & Linley Vittorio and Colton & Elianna Ruf. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, William Hill.
Reggie’s primary occupation in life was entrepreneur. He established many businesses but he felt his greatest accomplishment was the establishment of the Trader and Wheels & Deals classified ad papers in Indianapolis and Nashville, TN. He loved to spend time boating, spending many hours runnin’ the rivers of the Midwest and in the open waters of Florida. He loved spending time with his family and telling numerous stories of his life’s adventures. His greatest passion was always his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ bearing witness at every opportunity. Services will take place on Friday, June 30, 2023 at Erlewein Mortuary & Crematory, 1484 W. US Hwy. 40, Greenfield, IN 46140. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. The funeral service will begin at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Valley Grove Cemetery in Milton, Indiana. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made by mail to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 681405, Indianapolis, IN 46268 or envelopes will be available at the mortuary.
