Associates at Flambeau Inc.’s Columbus manufacturing facility celebrate its safety achievement of 365 days without a lost-time accident.
The Flambeau Inc. plastic injection and blow molding plant in Columbus marked one year of operation with zero accidents or recordable injuries on July 13.
According to the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), the manufacturing industry experiences approximately three accidents per 100 workers in a year in the United States.
Flambeau associates accredit this achievement to their safe work practices, continual training and personal safety requirements. They report near misses and incidents, and keep machinery and safety devices in top working order.
The Flambeau Columbus plant produces products for merchants in retail, e-commerce distributors, the automotive industry, commercial and industrial original equipment manufacturers, and customized third-party products.
