COLUMBUS, Ind. — The Bartholomew County Highway Department has announced 25th Street between Rogers Streets and County Road 650E, will be closed to thru traffic beginning Aug. 16 for bridge deck repair and overlay.
The contractor has 45 days to complete the project and reopen the road.
The detour for eastbound travelers is from 25th Street, turn right on to County Road 500E, then travel south to County Road 50N, then turn left on County Road 50N, travel east to County Road 650E, then turn left on County Road 650E, travel north to 25th Street, then turn right to continue east on 25th Street.
The detour for westbound travelers is from 25th Street, turn left on to County Road 650E, then travel south to County Road 50N, then turn right on to County Road 50N, travel west to County Road 500E, then turn right on to County Road 500E, travel north to 25th Street, then turn left to continue west on 25th Street.
